  1. We are a little over 8 months away from the Presidential Election, and the republican nomination is still up in the air. Throughout primary season no republican candidate has demonstrated dominance. There has been several surges in popularity from Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, and most recently Rick Santorum. The indecisiveness of the Republicans, is only harming themselves. The longer they keep chewing each others heads off the easier it will be for Barack Obama to win the Presidential Election.

  2. Larry Sabato stated, “Real votes make clear what polls cannot fully pick up.” Therefore, we must take into consideration that there is still a good amount of time left for presidential election and as Lalo pointed out ‘the republican nomination is still up in the air’. In my opinion, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich are a complete embarrassment to America. They have all had their moment of popularity but really all these candidates are doing is trying to bring each other down in order to bring their popularity up. However, what these candidates fail to realize is that the only person benefiting from their stupidity is Obama, now instead of savaging each other they should all give themselves a pat in the back for contributing in helping Obama save his campaign.
